Microsoft just released 20 Free New Master Pages for the previously released 40 Free Application Templates. Seems like a late release but, the master pages shown on WSS demo sites looks useful. Just check them out. They might be handy for your next gig. For details go to SharePoint Product blog

Yeah, even I was working on those templates on my VPC last week. It created around 10 to 15 of those. Its nice to know what these application templates provide out of box, before promising something to client and get our hands dirty by re-inventing the wheel.
