CKS – Community Kit for Sharepoint

It was fascinating to work in an open source project by collaborating with people across the different countries with different skill sets but with shared passion for SharePoint and community work. Though I started in the later stages of the project I enjoyed working as tester in the latest release. I am looking forward to contribute more in the coming the releases. I hope that, you already know that the latest release in available for download. Also hoping few of you already got your hands on the EBE module and finding it useful. If you aren’t aware of the kit. Please find details in Microsoft SharePoint Products and Technologies Team blog. It is available for download in codeplex. This release of EBE (Enhanced Blog Edition) is beta 1. Hence please feel free to report any bugs by leaving the comments (genuine) below. Please do mention the details of the install environment. Almost on cue, developers — many of them voluntary — unveiled sweeping enhancements this week via a Community Kit for SharePoint Version 5 (??). The effort is delivering a set of new practices, templates, Web parts, tools, and assorted source code.
