If you experience problems with sound after you install Windows Vista Service Pack 1 and any other Windows updates, this post is for you. I am experiencing issues with by Audio drivers every time I install Windows updates. This is really annoying.

‘Method 5: Reload the current sound driver’ helped me resolve the issue.
Still not sure why this happening every time I install Windows Update. If you know what is causing this please share!
I will keep you updated if I find the root cause and a better solution than reinstalling your Audio drivers every time you install ‘Updates’.

Yeah had this same issue too and re-loaded my driver. But now everytime I do a windows update, I have to reload my driver too
Something’s amiss. Also.. sometimes my audio just decides to stop playing, and I have to restart to get it kicking again. Help
