List of Major updates to SharePoint 2007 till date

I cam across this very important list of all major updates to SharePoint 2007 till date. This is a great little resource to keep track of the updates and check if your current SharePoint Installation is up to date (Fron the Version Number). Mind you, some of the updates are only necessary if you are facing some issues and this are covered in the update. As I always recommend test your updates before deploying them on your production. I am presently documenting a best practice approach on how to patchup SharePoint for a client.

Tree View Navigation of Documents in SharePoint Document Library – Atidan Explorer for SharePoint

Atidan just released a new Explorer navigation web part for the document libraries in your SharePoint sites.

Atidan Explorer for SharePoint is a tree-view control that displays your SharePoint site’s document library structure and content in the familiar explorer type view. Document libraries and associated contents are presented in an intuitive, collapsible, hierarchical format. Explorer for SharePoint will show your files and folders.

Now you can browse through the documents in your document libraries just like the normal windows explorer! I can see it as a great addition to your document center,if it contains huge number of document libraries.

What are you waiting for?  Just download it  for FREE @ DOWNLOAD NOW

[Update: 28th Feb 2008]

I have some feedback stating that, the web part is not working and it would be great if it works. This particualar web part requires MOSS 2007 and will not work on WSS 3.0. I apologize for not communicating this before. Anyway I am happy that people are reading my blog and finding it useful, either a particualar web part works or not! Thank You.
